Education-to-Career (E2C) Construction and OSHA Program

We welcome students including our local immigrant community wishing to enter the construction industry to apply for our Fundamentals of Construction (VOCC100) and OSHA 10 safety training (VOCC110) courses.
CONSTRUCTION
The Fundamentals in Construction class (VOCC 100) is offered throughout the year, running usually 6 weeks. Classes are held during accessible times in the afternoons/evenings and on weekends. Students will prepare for construction and carpentry employment and upon successfully completing the class students will receive a skills certificate. Students will receive additional support in preparing for employment placement.

- No fees
- Construction is currently offered 4 times per year
OSHA 10
The OSHA 10 (VOCC 110) class is offered generally 2 - 3 times per year. This is the first level of safety training. The class convenes for a total of 17 hours over the span of 4 days. Classes are held during accessible times in evenings and on 1 Saturday. This permit is recognized nationally. Students will receive an official permit upon completing training successfully.
