Registered Dental Assisting (RDA) Licensures

College of Marin Registered Dental Assisting (RDA) program prepares students for the State recognized RDA Certification awarded by the Dental Board of California and for the National Certified Dental Assisting Certification (CDA) exam. These certifications help validate the knowledge and skills obtained through the Registered Dental Assisting program for employment in Dental Assisting.

After graduation, students must apply to take an exam. Once approved, students can choose their proctored testing site. The exams are administered outside of College of Marin.

The application fee for the RDA exam is $120. Please refer to the link below for all necessary requirements to apply.

Passing the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) exam is a milestone achievement. Learn about the exam requirements, how to apply, how to prepare, and what to expect on exam day.
